Grateful Tonic: Downtown Sarasota's Newest Wellness Oasis

Nestled in a charming 1600-square-foot historic home on Fruitville Road, Grateful Tonic has opened its doors, offering a unique blend of spa and holistic wellness services. Owners Jill Fieldman and Lauren Fitzgerald, who fondly refer to it as a “holistic wellness center,” met three years ago while working at another spa on Siesta Key. Their shared vision and passion for wellness led them to create Grateful Tonic.

Lauren Fitzgerald, an aesthetician since 2008 and licensed massage therapist since 2011, brings extensive experience to Grateful Tonic. She pursued massage therapy to improve her facial treatments and gain a deeper understanding of the human body, and she enjoys working in both fields. She also aims to become a certified teacher to host classes and mentor others.

Jill Fieldman, who moved to Sarasota three years ago, is a holistic practitioner, massage therapist, and energy healer. She felt a strong connection to Sarasota, frequently visiting and eventually making it her home. Each aspect of the spa reflects her journey as a practitioner.

Grateful Tonic offers an array of services across its six rooms, including detoxifying salt baths, cold plunge tubs, infrared saunas, red light therapy, compression therapy, and ionic foot baths. The team is flexible and excited to see how their offerings evolve to better serve the community. Membership packages range from non-massage options, offering 10 services for $155 per month, to unlimited services for $299 per month. Massage and facial packages are also available, priced between $55 and $300. Fitzgerald encourages prospective members to visit and experience the space before committing to ensure it’s the right fit for them.

Grateful Tonic is located at 1744 4th St., Sarasota, FL 34236
