Located at the intersection of Links Avenue and Fruitville Road, the store celebrated its grand opening on September 6 with Mayor Liz Alpert in attendance. Visitors were welcomed into the health-conscious supermarket, which boasts a variety of fresh foods and produce, alongside staples like meat, seafood, and baked goods.

Adjacent to the newly constructed Aster & Links apartment complex on Main Street, this Sprouts location fills a significant gap in the area’s grocery offerings. Previously, residents had to travel to Bradenton or Sarasota Square Mall for similar options.

Manager Steven Knott highlighted Sprouts’ commitment to health-conscious choices, including gluten-free, vegan, and organic products, as well as offerings catering to paleo and keto diets. The store sources many items locally, such as citrus from Florida farms, while others, like peaches, come from Georgia.

Customer service is a cornerstone for Sprouts, with Knott emphasizing a welcoming atmosphere and frequent sampling opportunities to introduce customers to new products. The grand opening festivities continue through September 8, featuring special promotions and events to introduce Sarasota residents to their new neighborhood market.
