A celebrated East Coast culinary destination is set to elevate Sarasota’s dining scene. 1000 NORTH, an exclusive restaurant and private club hailing from Jupiter, Florida, has announced its second location at the corner of Boulevard of the Arts and North Tamiami Trail. Expected to open in late 2025, the club will take residence in the prestigious BLVD Sarasota building, directly across from The Quay.

1000 NORTH’s expansion into Sarasota comes with an exciting collaboration with local developer Kevin Daves, a key figure behind The Concession Golf Club at Lakewood Ranch and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel and Residences. Daves will partner with 1000 NORTH’s Managing Partner, Ira Fenton, whom he first met in 2006 while working on The Concession’s Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course with golf great Tony Jacklin. Together, Daves and Fenton bring a wealth of experience and a shared commitment to crafting an elevated dining experience for Sarasota.

The Sarasota location of 1000 NORTH will be a members-only establishment, distinguishing it from its Jupiter counterpart, which is open to the public with an option for membership. Members can expect a sophisticated menu featuring prime steaks, fresh seafood, and locally sourced seasonal ingredients, with dishes complemented by handcrafted cocktails and an extensive wine collection. This second location will include a state-of-the-art wine room stocked with rare vintages, along with a second-floor wine storage facility—a feature designed to make wine a central element of the dining experience.

1000 NORTH has an impressive roster of partners, including notable sports icons such as Dustin Johnson, Rickie Fowler, Serena Williams, and Michael Jordan. Founding partners also include golf legend Ernie Els, former New York Giants player Tucker Frederickson, Wine Spectator publisher Marvin Shanken, and wine industry leader Bill Terlato, bringing together an elite group that shares a passion for excellence.
