Construction has officially begun on New Trail Plaza, a highly anticipated affordable housing development. This project will feature two buildings: a four-story structure with 90 apartments and a three-story building with an additional six units. Additionally, the development will include 3,000 square feet of community resource space.

Residents will enjoy a variety of communal amenities, such as a children’s playground, an activity room, and a business center, designed to enhance the living experience.

Situated on a six-acre parcel, which Google Earth showed as vacant in early 2024, New Trail Plaza is expected to be completed by late 2025. The development will soon become home to many, providing much-needed affordable housing in the Sarasota area. Stay tuned for more updates as the project progresses!
