Introducing Car Bank SRQ: A New Home for Your Car, Boat, or RV

Boat owners have long enjoyed the convenience of boatels for their cherished vessels, but what about car owners in need of extra space? The new Car Bank SRQ warehouse facility aims to answer that question.

Breaking ground this month in Palmer Ranch, South Sarasota County, Car Bank SRQ offers a premium storage solution for cars, boats, and RVs. But it’s much more than just a parking spot.

Starting at $389,000, each unit at Car Bank SRQ features a half bath, HVAC system, utility sink, and industrial ceiling fan. Built to withstand Category 4 hurricanes, these car condominiums ensure peace of mind for Florida residents.

The concept was born from Todd Segal, director of construction at Calusa Development, who needed more space for his growing car collection. Car Bank SRQ is designed as an extension of one’s home, adding instant square footage in proximity to where you live with true ownership.

Each unit measures approximately 24 by 42 feet with a 21-foot ceiling, a pedestrian entrance, and a 12-by-14-foot garage door. Owners can further personalize their space with mezzanines, lifts, epoxy flooring, cabinetry, extra lighting, and additional outlets.

With its high-quality finishes, prime location, and customization options, Car Bank SRQ stands out as the ideal car collector garage condo community. In fact, 15 of the 18 units have already been sold.

Calusa Development is spearheading the construction, with completion expected in early 2025. Car Bank SRQ is part of a growing trend in the region, with similar projects underway in Naples, Auburndale, Polk County, St. Petersburg, and Lakewood Ranch.
