In response to the devastation caused by Hurricanes Helene and Milton, DreamLarge, the parent company of Sarasota Magazine, is rallying the community to come together for a day of giving back. This Saturday, October 19, from 2 to 6 p.m., DreamLarge will host a free block party, supply drive, and fundraiser at Overtown Square in Sarasota’s Rosemary District (1386 Boulevard of the Arts, between Fifth Way and Boulevard of the Arts).

Attendees can enjoy food and drinks from local vendors, listen to live music, and relax with neighbors—all while contributing to a great cause. The event will collect essential supplies such as non-perishable food, cleaning products (like bleach, Lysol, and rags), trash bags, plastic bins, dehumidifiers, bug spray, batteries, and more. All donations will be distributed through the Center on Anna Maria Island to help those affected on the nearby barrier islands.
