Marie Selby Botanical Gardens' Orchid Show 2024: PURPLE! to Reopen After Hurricane Milton

Marie Selby Botanical Gardens kicked off its highly anticipated annual orchid exhibition on Saturday, October 5, but was forced to close shortly after due to the impact of Hurricane Milton. Thankfully, the gardens have announced that the exhibit will reopen this Thursday, October 17, ready to welcome visitors once again.

Titled The Orchid Show 2024: PURPLE!, the exhibition offers an enchanting display of purple orchids in the Tropical Conservatory. Paired with purplish-hued films and fixtures, the exhibit immerses guests in a lush, vibrant experience that highlights the beauty and allure of this striking color.

The Orchid Show 2024: PURPLE! will be on display from Thursday, October 17, through Sunday, December 5, at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens’ downtown Sarasota campus, located at 1534 Mound Street. Don’t miss the chance to experience this visually stunning event!
