St. Regis Longboat Key Resort is gearing up for its grand opening later this summer by announcing its top culinary team. Executive Chef Alberto Taboada and Food & Beverage Director Melih Eker will oversee the resort’s seven unique dining venues.
Chef Taboada, who has extensive experience with Marriott and JW Marriott, brings a wealth of knowledge from his tenure overseeing a 900-room luxury resort in Orlando. Melih Eker comes from his recent role as Food & Beverage Director at The Ritz Carlton in St. Thomas.
Here’s a preview of the resort’s dining options:
- The St. Regis Bar: Live piano music and performances.
- CW Prime: The signature steakhouse restaurant.
- Riva: Offering coastal Italian cuisine.
- Aura: An open-air pool grill with Latin American dishes.
- Oshen: A rooftop lounge for hotel guests featuring Japanese and Peruvian fusion small plates.
- Monkey Bar: Serving elevated tiki drinks and light bites, named after the beloved bar at the former Colony Beach & Tennis Resort.
- Café Caroline: An all-day café.
