But the chance to enjoy a gourmet meal, spend quality time with loved ones, and dodge dish duty? Worth every penny.

In the grand ballroom, the experience begins with Champagne and unfolds into a culinary wonderland. The buffet stations are packed with holiday favorites and gourmet treats, including an all-you-can-eat caviar station. Other highlights include an expansive charcuterie display, freshly-carved turkey and prime rib, and even whole-roasted grouper flaked to order. Save room for dessert, where a glowing display of bite-sized tarts, tortes, cakes, and pies steals the show. 

The Ritz-Carlton offers its Thanksgiving and Christmas buffets from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1111 Ritz-Carlton Drive, Sarasota. Reservations are required, so plan ahead.
